UCB supports medical education activities in the therapeutic areas of epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, Restless Legs Syndrome, Crohn’s disease and Rheumatoid Arthritis. We believe that education fosters an increased understanding of scientific, clinical and healthcare issues that contribute to the safety and quality of patient care.  We support high quality, independent education through unrestricted educational grants, for health related or scientific purposes focused on enhancing medical professional and patient awareness, knowledge, and education.

UCB’s online Grants Management System (portal) is the exclusive mechanism for receiving requests for charitable contributions and independent medical education grants. Beginning in May 2012, UCB will be required to post on our Web site certain information about our medical education grants and healthcare-related charitable contributions to U.S.-based organizations.
