    Pankti Reid, MD, MPH

    Dr. Reid is a clinical expert in the Section of Rheumatology and the Committee on Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacogenomics at the University of Chicago Medical Center, with a focused expertise in immune-related adverse events (irAEs) and off-target autoimmune toxicities associated with cancer immunotherapy, particularly immune checkpoint inhibitors. Dr. Reid completed fellowship training in Rheumatology and T32-funded Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacogenomics in 2019 and began a UL1/KL2 award in 2021.

    Dr. Reid’s career has centered on the thoughtful repurposing of rheumatology therapies to manage cancer immunotherapy toxicities. Nationally, Dr. Reid serves on the NCCN irAE Management Guidelines team and has presented widely at national meetings with publications in high-impact journals, alongside ongoing research in integrative medicine within the practice of rheumatology.
